Our Approach

Our approach and services are tailored to address execution and operational performance issues confronted by our clients.  Brooks has developed methods to help companies analyze and improve their operational and execution performance.

Our offerings focus on the implementation of strategic imperatives, and the accelerated realization of expected business results.  We target two critical execution activities; the development of detailed tactical plans to deliver strategic imperatives, and the implementation of these tactical Plans to realize the expected results.  We do not work with our clients to formulate strategies - rather our value proposition concentrates on tactical and implementation challenges.  The following graphic outlines our core practice areas:

Approach_900

Our structured tactical planning process translates client strategic imperatives into actionable tactical plans.  This is often the first step in achieving accelerated strategic results, since a portfolio of tactical alternatives must be assessed, valued, and analyzed for risk  before effective iImplementation of these strategies can begin.

We call our implementation approach the E-C-M Process.  Only by aligning expectations from top- to front-line, ensuring that appropriate and continuously improving capabilities are present, and consistently motivating and recognizing desired performance, can organizations deliver on their potential.  The presence or absence of these three conditions determines execution effectiveness.

Our Three-Stage Process

Stage I -Opportunity Assessment (4-6 weeks):

The initial stage of our process defines the existing operating model, quantifies opportunites for significant improvement  and develops a BluePrint for achieving accelerated results. Stage I is designed to be fast and low cost, yet comprehensive.

Stage II -BluePrint Implementation (typically 6-9 months):

Stage II is dedicated to the design, testing and complete implementation of the BluePrint. The result is the accelerated and sustainable implementation of a new, more effective operating model, which will significantly increase competitiveness, and profitability. Stage II is designed to deliver rapid results and sustainable behavioral changes.

Stage III - Internalization (variable):

The final stage is dedicated to cementing key behavioral changes, especially those related to performance rewards and continuous improvement.

Stage III requirements are custom designed based on client needs.
